The new yadea C1S was designed by the design company KISKA, which already has many product designs for otherslike KTM for example. This results in winning the reddot Design Award 2020

The large, round, merging surfaces with the fully integrated LED headlights and the LED rear light catch the eye. The large, high-resolution 5-inch LCD display with excellent contrast for perfect readability under all lighting conditions is also fully integrated into the design. The vehicle also has a light sensor that switches on and off the main headlight in the dark automatically.

A removable and externally chargeable 60V 32Ah lithium-ion battery with 18650 cells from Panasonic serves as the energy source. The operating temperature of the battery is from -22 ° C to max. 55 ° C and enables a total range of up to 80 km per battery charge.

The vehicle has a keyless go function. This enables the activation of the yadea C1S electric scooter without having to take the key out of your pocket. The smart multifunction control unit activates and deactivates the vehicle, opens the seat if necessary and at the same time locks the steering wheel lock.

The size of the seat easily and comfortably accommodates 2 people, including the 25 liter storage compartment in which a helmet can be easily accommodated.

All control buttons for light and high beam as well as horn, turn signals, etc. are located on the handlebars. All control units have buttons with low-wear microswitches.

Also attached to the front structure on the left side is a second storage compartment with a cover, inside which there is a USB charging socket for mobile devices.

The hydraulic CBS brake system is installed on the front and rear on the 12 inch rims. The tires are 90/90-12 in the front and 100/80-12 56J pneumatic tires in the rear. The rear suspension consists of 2 hydraulic shock absorbers, the front axle is double-sprung. The vehicle frame consists of a waterproof, sealed, cold-rolled tubular steel frame. The built-in 2200W GTR 3.0 high-performance hub motor is IP57 waterproof and effortlessly accelerates the yadea C1S scooter to 45 km/h. This is controlled by a so-called FOC controller / field-oriented vector control.


IMPORTANT: This scooter model is EEC certified meaning street-legal in whole Europe. Inside Germany there is a driving license required - from 16 years with driving license class A1, AM; from 18 years with each driving license of classes 1a, 1, 2, 3, A, B or C.
